This is really great. So the story begins this way;

I went to Big Bazaar to get some of my favorite rice, Sona Masoori Premium Rice. It is kept loose with a price tag of 31 Rs/- per Kilogram, so I asked the lady to get me a 10 Kg pack. She gives me a slip which I need to pay for at the counter. At the counter, the guy says it will cost me 325!

Well, my math says 31*10 = 310. So when I asked him, he goes that the 15 extra bucks is probably for the packing, Gosh, I was shocked man. I’ve bought a lot of rice in my life and always I’ve seen the price goes a bit down when you buy in bulk and in India now there is a shop which charges you more if you buy it bulk. You won’t believe, I went back to the rice place and asked her to give 10Kgs in loose, so that I pay only 310 Rupees. I had my colleague along with me and we both pondered all over the staff and shouted at most we can, throwing out all the frustration at work!

Then happened the most beautiful thing, I get a bill for 290 Rupees. Apparently I got a discount of 30 bucks. I couldn’t understand their logic and just fled the place.

Guys, watch out for this day-stealing… Either they’re nuts or big time business people, so they think!
